ENGINE:
The powerful 4 stroke, 220 cc DTS-i engine of the Pulsar 220F, delivers 21Ps of sheer power. This Pulsar also has the highest power-to-weight ratio of 140 Ps/Ton making it the most powerful bike in its class.
To keep this powerful engine running smoothly, the Pulsar 220F is equipped with an oil cooler for better engine cooling and increased life.
Patented TRICS III and intelligent CDI technology improve ignition timing and smoother power delivery and temperature based ignition mapping with India's largest venturi carburetor.
SEAT + HANDLE BARS + CONSOLE + TAIL LAMP:
The bike has the ultra-stylish LED tail lamp, sporty split seats and split rear grab rails.
Standard fitments on the bike include the clip-on handle bar complete with pass switch, electric start, engine kill switch and self-cancelling indicators.
The digital console of the bike displays a low fuel indicator, neutral blinker and low battery display.
EXHAUSTEC + REAR SHOCKS:
Patented ExhausTEC (Torque Expansion Chamber) technology provides high pickup at low rpm thus eliminating the need for frequent gear shifts. The technology improves engine torque at low rpm, providing abundant latent power at any stage of riding to ensure effortless pulling for any load conditions.
Nitrox rear shock absorbers with 5 step adjustable ride settings, provide a plush riding comfort.
LAMP + TANK:
The Pulsar 220F has the only projector headlamp in a bike on Indian roads. The aerodynamic semi-fairing on the muscular 15 liter fuel tank gives the bike its own identity on the road.
High wattage (55 W) twin projector headlamp produces precise, penetrating beams with a wide spread that helps in better lighting of the road & surrounding area. The headlamp is powered by a 12 V full DC for uniform illumination at all speeds.
WHEELS + SHOCKS + BRAKES:
Pulsar 220F has the fatter 120/80 X 17" soft compound, tubeless tyres and strengthened 5 spoke alloy wheels for stunning looks, easy maintenance and better road grip.
The bike also comes fitted with a 260 mm front and a 230 mm rear ventilated disc brake one of the few bikes to have both front and rear discs.
The telescopic front forks with anti friction bushes provide for greater riding comfort on all terrains.
